A Message From Yuta Fujii, CEO of YutaFujii,Inc.
Dear Reader,
If you're here, you may have already noticed something. This homepage looks familiar — and intentionally so.
This site is an homage to Berkshire Hathaway's homepage, a company that needs no introduction in the world of finance. For those in software and product development, Berkshire Hathaway may not be the first name that comes to mind. But for anyone who has spent time in investment banking or capital markets — as I have — it is nothing short of legendary. Warren Buffett built something that transcends industries, and their homepage has always struck me as a quiet masterpiece: no flash, no decoration, just substance.
I spent the early part of my career as an investment banker, immersed in the language of capital, risk, and value creation. Then I crossed into software engineering and product development, where I've now spent years building, designing, and shipping products. It's not easy to find someone who has experience in both, but I'm fortunate to have had the opportunity to work in both worlds. This homepage is one small way of showing that.
There's a deeper reason this site looks the way it does. After years of crafting polished interfaces, refining pixel-perfect designs, and pursuing the art of "how do we make this more engaging?" — I arrived at a conviction that may seem paradoxical for a product engineer:
The most powerful design is the one that gets out of the way.
When you strip away every gradient, every animation, every carefully chosen hero image — what remains? Only the content. Only the substance. Only whether what you have to say actually matters. Berkshire Hathaway's homepage taught me that. It doesn't persuade you with aesthetics. It simply presents what is, and trusts that the work speaks for itself.
This is the philosophy I bring to everything we do: pursue the essential, discard the rest. Not minimalism as a trend, but minimalism as discipline — the kind that takes years of adding before you learn the courage to subtract.
If you recognized the homage, we probably share something in common. If you didn't, now you know: behind this company is someone who respects both the rigor of finance and the craft of engineering, and who believes the best work needs no decoration.
Thank you for visiting. I hope what we build speaks louder than any homepage ever could.
